Friends of Freetown is a UK based, grant-giving charity working to benefit the people of Sierra Leone. We were created in 2009 with the immediate aim of helping to fund the construction of a community clinic. We currently give grants to:
We also collect donations of certain items (for example, laptops, printers, sewing machines) and pay the shipping costs where this is more cost effective than sending monetary grants.
We are a small charity, but passionately believe that we can make a difference.
